Araminta Bond was born in Exeter, England in 1988. Growing up around Devon, Araminta at 17years of age left for London to complete her education at Lansdowne College. After completing her B.A (HONS) Photography course at Falmouth University in Cornwall, her work led her into the artistic society of constructive, commercial and fine art based photography. Her influences have grown within the research and study of her degree.

Araminta’s own style is about collaborating personal projects that are focused on portraiture with a sense of surrealism. This often creates very detailed, flamboyant scenes with a touch of sinister in tone and moods.

Her Fine art practice primarily focuses in the areas of portraiture and has been influenced by both historical and contemporary practices in photography, as well as many artworks and films throughout the century.
