Katie is currently working as a colourist and stylist for Lisa Edwards in Southampton and in her spare time she continues to freelance. She is actively building her professional portfolio and is currently working on several projects as a stylist on commercial fashion, music and photographic shoots. Katie is always interested in getting involved with new projects. Her superb artistic background, keen eye for style and passion for photography, helps clients achieve and exceed their goals. Her passion for this industry helps her deliver artistic vision, a unique style and a technical knowledge to deliver projects on time, in budget - often exceeding clients expectations.

Katie's passion for art, fashion and photography has been present throughout her life, she was strongly influenced by her parents' careers. Her Mother is a textiles and art tutor and her Father is a photographer. Throughout her early career and school life Katie was strongly encouraged to follow her own interests and soon qualified as a hair-stylist and make-up artist after completing her GSCEs and A Levels. Katie began her career in styling in at Aveda in 2004, where she achieved her NVQs and took on extra training in make-up artistry.

After two years at Aveda, Katie spent two years traveling around Europe and Southeast Asia, Katie returned to a salon managers post at Nirvana Hair in Winchester. Here she lead an artistic team of 6 developing seasonal looks; hair and make-up design for fashion shows and styled and arranged photographic shoots. The opportunity soon arose to further her experience as a make-up artist and hair stylist on Saturday morning television for ITV.

Sharing her father's enthusiasm in photography for composition and light, Katie can often be found camera in hand taking pictures for local night clubs, DJ's and Musicians.
