I am a 24year old photographer specializing in the genres of surrealism and conceptualism. Since I started photography in 2008 I have had success both locally and overseas, including the chance to represent Australia in the 2010 Royal Commonwealth Photographic Awards (Awarded Bronze).

My experience with models is rather minimal. I've always just used friends and family to serve as my models/figures. You will notice that in my work I rarely show the face of the subject, this is because I feel that when the face is concealed it eliminates all recognition which in turn allows the photograph to reach a wider audience. What I mean by this is that if I was to have an exhibition - the photographs could appeal to buyers more, because the person in the image could be anyone. HOWEVER, I plan to change this and work with models in a new and different way.

I signed up to this site because I want to experience working with models, and try out new and bizarre ideas. The environment in which I shoot varies, I sometimes shoot indoors using natural light and make-shift backdrops, and I also shoot outdoors when I can. Sun light is always better than studio lighting in my opinion.

Currently I am looking for models (Preferably female) who are interested in creating some unique shots. I try to make my shoots fun and interesting, that way I feel it's a better working environment for me and the sitter.

Please let me know if you want to organize a shoot with me! although I'm not really sure what I'm doing with my photography anymore, so chances are if I do decide to shoot with a model it will be me that initiates that process. But by all means drop us a line and express your interest! often it's the occasional message or comment that rekindles my creativity!
