I am a little bit odd, a little bit strange; but that's okay.

I am a massage therapist by trade, which means that I have a good amount of time to pursue my dreams, and an artist by hobby. Which is why I'm here. Simply, art is my dream and in order to pursue it I need fresh faces to work with.

Generally, I am a portrait artist. I have been doing charcoal portraits for about five years. Some of the time my charcoals don't look like the individual sitting for me, sometimes they do. Every time they are full of emotion, of realism, of (what I'd like to consider) beauty. In late 2010 and early 2011 I began to play with oil. With time and practice I have come to a point where I'd like to bring my oil paintings to the next step.

Right now I am looking for individuals for one project:

Primary Portraits(oil): I have one of them completed and am looking for three more. More specifically, I am looking for an African American male, and one Caucasian and one Hispanic/Asian female. These generally take six to eight hours to complete. It requires an individual who can sit in a pose for a few hours, take a break, return to the pose, break, return to the pose, etc. until the painting is completed.

Currently, I cannot compensate monetarily. I CAN feed you while you are doing a project with me (and have every intention to do so) and I CAN booze you if you would like (cough.. if you are over 21... or something). I also can house you if you are not a psycho and you are traveling. Maybe one day that will change, however right now that is simply not an option.
