I was born in Eastham, England and moved to Calgary, AB as a young child. Sydney Poitier first gave me my acting opportunity in a made-for-television movie called, "Children of the Dust", which was filmed in Calgary, AB. When I first met Mr. Poitier I had no idea who he was, but he took a liking to me. He basically opened the door for me in Film and TV. While on set, I inquired about continuing film work and Mr Poitier suggested I move to Vancouver, BC because of the demand for people of colour in the film industry. Taking his advice, I moved to Vancouver during the time that the hit tv series, Stargate SG1 was being casted. While on the set of SG1, it was much like going to theatre school because I was given the opportunity to do stunt work, acting and stand-in work for about 4 years. I was also able to study at various acting schools in the lower mainland, and was able to secure roles in major motion pictures as well as many different television shows. I had recurring roles on Stargate SG1 and Dark Angel.

I've worked w Sir Ian Mckellan, Halle Berry, Kate Beckinsale, Cuba Gooding Jr, Hugh Jackman, Vin Diesel, Jessica Alba, Kerry Washington, Joshua Jackson, Stan Lee, Patrick Stewart, Jared Padelecki, Jensen Ackles, Tom Welling, and Michael Rosenbaum.

I am most well known for my roles in X2, Fantastic 4, Underworld 2, Catwoman and Chronicles of the Riddick. More recently I have had roles in locally filmed TV series Once Upon a Time, Fringe, Life Unexpected, Being Erica and Endgame.
