Kirkley, who has directed several commercials for Chevrolet Europe, began his career directing music videos for L.A.-based bands including the Flys. He toured and traveled with bands documenting tours before directing his first documentary, the Steve Buscemi narrated Excavating Taylor Mead. Over the past few years, Kirkley, who is now based on the West Coast, has focused on commercials and branding, including fashion.
