Yo!

I've been shooting photos as a hobby since mid 2006 when I first acquired an SLR. This was right around the time that digital SLRs were becoming a viable upgrade, so in early 2007 I purchased a Nikon D40. After selling that and all my lenses (really miss my 70-300 VR!), I upgraded to a Canon T2i in early 2010.

Even though I'm an "amateur" photographer, I've been obsessed with learning the methods of creating quality photos (lighting techniques, camera positioning, etc). I don't have a whole lot of experience working with models, but perhaps some people will be interested in letting me practice my photography with them in front of my lens! I've also recently taken a strong interest in retouching via Photoshop, though I really prefer to take proper photos that don't require much post-processing (but, as we all know, that doesn't always happen!)

Anyway, I recently discovered Model Mayhem and I think it's an excellent way to network with others who have an interest in this field. Thanks for checking out my work!
