As a young photographer from Barbados, Alyson began exploring the genre while studying for an Associates Degree in Mass Communications. With no thought to return to the field of photography, she went onto aquire a Bachelors in Language and Linguistics. After two years as a journalist and photographer for a local newspaper she shifted her focus solely onto photography.
The former model is a self-taught graphic artist and has made great strides in her work. In the 2010 edition of Barbados' National Festival of Creative Arts, she was awarded three medals for her work, one silver , two bronze and the Training Award 1. In the following year she obtained additional silver and bronze medals . Her interests lie with capturing the significant moments and creating unforgettable images.
