The next generation of hairdressing is here and Neil Barton is leading the way with his inspirational colour and cutting techniques. Following a hugely successful 2011 which saw Neil Barton finalise for Scottish Hairdresser of the Year and named as a key member of Goldwell’s International Colour Zoom ’12 Creative Team, Neil is set to be in high demand for his creative skills.

A dedicated professional, Neil devotes his time to hairdressing and is building towards becoming one of the UK’s top colourists. Beginning his career in 1998, working in an established Edinburgh salon and attending Telford College to obtain his hairdressing qualifications, Neil knew that hairdressing was the career for him as he spent his spare time making wigs and hair pieces and pouring over moodboards to create beautiful styles for his clients.

In 2007, Neil had established himself as an experienced stylist and opened the doors to his own salon, Neil Barton Hairdressing. A contemporary salon with a young, vibrant team, Neil Barton Hairdressing offers clients cutting edge creativity within a relaxed environment where all the team provide a high standard of professional service. The team ethos is to pay attention to all the customer needs ensuring each individual looks good on the outside and feels great on the inside too. Neil and his team pride themselves on providing clients with all the latest trends and styles along with incredible product knowledge to prescribe the very best treatments and services for each individual.

Neil career is developing rapidly on a creative level since being crowned as Goldwell Colour Zoom winner in 2010. Attention to details is paramount for Neil and this detail has led to his colour skills exploding and catapulting him to a whole new professional level. Neil worked on the International Colour Zoom ’12 Creative Team and presented live in Miami for the Colour Zoom presentation. Creating an array of beautiful styles and colours for the Colour Zoom Fascia Nature collection, Neil was one of the key stylists to bring the beautiful collection to life.

2012 will be a non-stop year for Neil Barton as he will be visiting many European destinations to conduct training seminars on his inspiration colouring techniques. Neil has also been named as one of Goldwell’s professional trainers and will be conducting a number of sessions at the London Goldwell Academy.
