I started my career as a Graphic Designer as soon as I graduated with my degree, working for a publication in New York. I worked there for 4 years and gained a lot of valuable experience in the design field, as well as being around the kinds of people that motivated me to new levels in my work. I owe a lot to this experience and I am thankful I had the chance to be there to see and learn new things.

I have always been carrying cameras around with me, snapping photos with a digital point and shoot or 35mm film on my way to work on New York's subways and buses. Capturing the life on the streets, the busy pedestrians on their way to work, the kiosk merchants selling their goods… But I was so tuned into Graphic Design that I didn't notice exactly when I made the transition into photography.

I realized one day that there was actually something I loved more than design, and it was photography. The next steps were easy… I was already educated in composition, form, line, color theory etc. And I had already been taking pictures for years, using what I knew from design and applying it to the camera. It was like one of those things you don't even realize you're doing because it has become muscle memory…..

I recently moved to Tampa and look to continue my love of the camera, particularly shooting photos of people, taking portraits and street photography. Please feel free to browse my gallery, I hope you will enjoy the images as much as I did taking them.
