Artists statement

My passion is to try to capture a glimpse of the profound beauty found in deepest recesses of the soul: a split second, an instant which reveals a truth about the person and the value they hold for the world.

Project in process: "Gems and Heirlooms," a collection of portraits of remarkable people who have made the world a better place for their being in it - teachers, artists, peace activists, volunteers and good Samaritans.

I currently teach at Fine Art portraiture and Photshop at Civic Arts Education Adult Education in Walnut Creek. I also conduct small group seminars in portrait and Fine Arts Photography in my home. I've joined Model Mayhem so that I can have better access to models for my Classes.
