Jen DeLeon's career began when she taught herself to create a website in 2009. Whether it was writing inspirational pieces, or sharing her random thoughts in video blogs, she was never afraid to put herself out there.

In the first video blog she posted, Jen said she'd find a way to meet Oprah and work for the Bulls - little did she know how possible it was to speak things into existence.

Four months after the video, she was a guest on ‘The Oprah Winfrey Show" (aired January 2010) where she demonstrated and was interviewed about the dangers of texting and driving. (Click here to watch the full episode).

Jen told Oprah she wanted to be the next her, just the Filipino version - and Oprah's response is one of the many things that motivates Jen to never give up on the dream of being a role model to this new generation, and having her own show.

“Jen, the next me will be you – just keep doing what you’re doing because someone needs to be that voice.”

She always wanted to be in front of the camera since she was a child, just didn't know what the next step was going to be - until Gowhere Hip Hop (GWHH) came along.

In May 2010, they agreed to be a sponsor for her Haiti fundraiser show, and mentioned they liked her presence on stage. GWHH founders, Maks G and Tibs then asked Jen to be a correspondent for the company, which gave her opportunities to interview the likes of Big Sean, Keri Hilson, Derrick Rose, Dwyane Wade and many more.

Later that year, thanks to networking and social media, she landed internships with NBC Chicago (2010) and The Chicago Bulls – BullsTV (2010-2011 season).

After her experience in Chicago, and obtaining her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Journalism from Columbia College in only three years, she packed her bags and drove to Los Angeles (September 2012) to take her career to the next level.
