Hi everyone! I'm Paolo, I'm twenty-eight years old and I was born in Erba, in the province of Como, a small town in northern Italy.
Since childhood I had the opportunity get in touch with the world of photography in the pews of the shop of my father, passionate photographer and art collector who has always transmitted this interest to their children.
The family business was founded by my grandfather Oscar in 1948 opened a small studio in the Veneto with the help of their children.
The passion for photography as a means of expression comes first with the frequentation of exhibitions and art museums from an early age and developed over the years as a constant in my life.
In 1999 I bought his first SLR camera (a Canon AE-1) which begins to learn the rudiments of the photographic techniques.
Take on typically humanistic studies in high school and then in 2004 at the University Bicocca I focus on the themes of psychology, communication and graphics, never able finally to abandon his true passion, photography.
During his time at university he is also interested in analog printing in black and white and with the help of some friends creates a personal darkroom.
In 2009 he exhibited his first show " Horror pleni, horror vacui" in Cantù with Michele Consoli, proposing it on other occasions.
Since then I had exhibited in various venues and events in Como, Lecco and Milan.
In 2011 he was awarded post-graduate in languages ​​and techniques of analog and digital photography at the institute CFP Bauer in Milan.
I currently live and work between Milan, Berlin and Erba. I had also worked in recent years as an assistant photographer in various photographic studios in the Milan area and the historical printing lab De Stefanis.
In November 2012 I moved to Berlin. After 1 year I returned stable to north Italy
