I have a day job working in IT but have been working feverishly on my sideline now for a few years. Artistic portraits are my passion and I'm interested in working with models to explore avenues and approaches to creating striking images.

Some points that may be of interest to models I work with:
- I have a home studio set up in south eastern Melbourne suburbs. I can shoot there or have enough mobility for outdoor work.
- I can arrange to pick you up and drop you off at a location of your choosing (no, not Sydney!).
- At the moment most of my work is TFP. It's a case of helping each other build portfolios. If that doesn't suit, no problem.
- I generally agree with a model before a shoot on the type of images I'm after and if I can find a suitable image will email samples, if not I will describe in as much detail as I can.
- Images will be used in my portfolio online (photos.petermac.com), maybe flickr.com and when I get around to it maybe in print.
- Models get all presentable images either on DVD or memory stick. I reserve the right of ownership (if anybody ever wants to buy them) but models can use for their own portfolios.
- Along with digital, I also shoot to B&W film so will follow-up with any images post development.
- I generally expect a model to look after their own makeup and if any especially tricky makeup shots are involved, I will arrange for a MUA to be available on the day.
- I request models to sign a release, preferably done using email before a shoot.
- You're welcome to bring a chaperone especially if they don't mind helping out with reflectors and shades. I will not be rushed because your chaperone needs to be somewhere for lunch.

I like having fun during a shoot and making sure that models are comfortable at all times. My aim is to create a good working relationship with models so we can work efficiently on any subsequent shoots.
