Welcome Model Mayhem, My name is Dequan Colson. I am an independent model that loves being in front of the camera showcasing my many attributes, style, and excitement. Photography was introduced to me in 2009 from one of my closest friends, Ibe Bello. He would always ask me to get in front of the camera so that he could practice taking better shots and improve his technique. Little did I know after awhile I would start to develop a passion for standing in front of the camera. What most people wouldn’t know about me is that I grew up as a military child, and I sometimes attribute the decisions I make towards my upbringing. Such as being able to go with the flow, and adapt to my surroundings, always putting forth my best and never taking no for an answer. I see myself as a multifaceted person, who loves to model, maintains organization, and is very business oriented. I would describe my look as edgy, and smooth; which compliments my screen name "So Smoove". I acquired the name "SoSmoove" from my laid back personality, and clean cut appearance. Lately modeling has opened a few doors for me, and opened my eyes to the possibilities and wide array of avenues available within this industry. I have been able to meet many different individuals that have impacted my life thus far, and offer a continued support system; guiding me on my future career path. I hope to be able to accomplish all of my dreams and aspirations in life and modeling is the gateway of opportunity on this journey. Within the next few years I plan to have more of an established presence within the modeling industry, constantly promoting my brand, and one day owning my own business.
