I've been seriously interested in photography since early 2007, but I've been taking pictures my whole life. There were three factors that influenced my decision to pursue this; I won't bore you but feel free to ask if you're curious. I do not currently own a DSLR. Since 2007 I've shot mostly with a point and shoot, a Polaroid, and a 35mm. I love photography in all its forms, from lomography to cyanotype printing to digital manipulation in Adobe Photoshop. I have attended one year of college for photography, but was unable to finish. I would eventually love to have my degree, however.

I'm pretty young at shooting portraits; I prefer to capture the emotions of inanimate objects but I'm learning that people are important in this field, so I've been trying my hand at it. I need practice, so a part of why I made this profile was to find local models who would be willing to let me grow with them. Another part is I'd like to begin networking with others and get more serious about my work. I would love this to be my career, ideally one day working for a magazine in a city.
