Dawn's ambitious character was ready for a greater challenge after photographing horses all across the country for more than 10 years. Dawn married Ashley Baxstrom, a well respected cutting horse trainer and together they have a 7-year-old son, Jagger. Dawn competes Ranch Horse Competitions for recreation.

Dawn Baxstrom is an accomplished, well respected portrait artist who is recognized by horse enthusiasts across the United States, England, Brazil, Israel and Australia. Horses have always been a way of life for Dawn. She has lived and breathed the cowgirl lifestyle. In fact, you will probably meet her in heels, but know that she still wears boots. You don't have to be a cowgirl to appreciate a portrait session with Dawn Baxstrom Signature Portraits. You just have to appreciate the majestic mystery of the equine species.

Dawn believes every woman is beautiful, fabulous, a dreamer, classic and worth it all! She is passionate about making a difference and giving clients portraits that capture their beauty and livelihood.

Dawn joined modelmayhem.com in hopes to meet more like minded individuals whose goals were to capture the beauty of the human spirit. She loves to work with women of all ages. She is currently looking for women aged 18+ for portfolio work. She is also looking for models who would not mind being photographed with her horse Bunny, whom you see in some of her portfolio photos. Bunny is a gentle soul and has been referred to many times as a giant couch. Bunny retired from Texas where she worked with special needs children at a ranch.
