Jennifer Rothwell

Born in New York and raised in Dublin, Jennifer Rothwell graduated from the National College of Art and Design, Dublin, Ireland with honors in 1995.

Jennifer gained vast experience as the director of Design and Production for many high profile New York Designer companies, particularly accrediting Norma Kamali where she worked as a designer for several years. She later went on gain further working at director level with Katayone Adeli, Calvin Klein, Language and Yigal Azrouel.

Jennifer won the “Brown Thomas Designer Award” at Dublin Fashion Week in 2007, a highly commended New Product Award at the Showcase Expo in 2010 and showcased at the Irish Pavilion at Shanghai World Expo 2010. She was also a judge on Norway’s Top Model TV Programme. Judging a heat of the reality show, which was broadcast in Norway in March 2011 and created a “great opportunity to showcase Ireland as an urban fashion hub.”

Jennifer Rothwell collections consist of innovative design and luxurious fabrics paired with high quality finishing. The inspiration behind the SS13 Humming Bird Silk Digital Print collection and developing her own prints came about when Jennifer was unable to source any prints that truly inspired her at 2011 Paris fabric trade shows.

All garments from the new SS13 Collection are 100% Made in Dublin, Ireland. Jennifer prides herself that her garments are produced locally in Ireland, employing a team of local and highly skilled seamstress’s and cutters, supporting Irish Design and business.
