Not giving my age away, but I spent thousands of hours in the darkroom in my early career... if that give you a clue. Like many, photography has always been a passion. I'm at a point in my career (the one that pays the bills) that I can dedicate more time to my true passion. To me a photo is just a pretty picture with out people.... I strive to tell a story through my photos... through eyes and emotion. You can't always put your what your mind's eye sees into words. To that you need to deliver a photo from the heart.
