About Me

I graduated from Full Sail University with a Bachelor in Science of Film in December 2011, and possess a true aspiration to succeed. I am a hard worker and strive for excellence in all that I do and obtain great satisfaction from a job well done. My professional experience has proven to me that I greatly enjoy a position that lets me express my creativity while simultaneously challenging my intellect and work ethic.

Lifetouch Photography hired me as a photographer soon after graduation in 2012. Dealing with hundreds of students a day, this opportunity prepared me with the interpersonal communication and stress management skills needed in the video production field. During this time, I mastered the art of multi-tasking while in very high stress environments and gained knowledge of the corporate business setting.

As a media-marketing specialist at Perez-Brown Media I acquired vast knowledge of media and marketing techniques and the utilization and application in real world corporate scenarios. At Perez-Brown, I was required to utilize my creativity and writing expertise in order to create media packages, such as script pilots, promotional videos, and music videos for clients that corresponded with sponsors. Some of these tasks included script writing that not only appealed to our clients image, but managed to involve the integration of sponsors such as product placement.

My position as a producer for Video Music Box afforded me the opportunity to understand the format of broadcast television. Being mentored by Ralph Mcdaniels, founder of Video Music Box, not only inspired me to be great at everything I do, but also paved the way for my future success as a writer/producer. It also helped me understand the value of networking, and the importance of developing strong relationships with clients and talent. At VMB, I am constantly challenged to meet deadlines with only a few hours before broadcast, and it has drastically helped me improve my editing workflow.

I currently work for One Caribbean Television as a writer/producer with CBS correspondent Marlie Hall, providing premium, low cost content for their networks that reach to over 30 countries. I started out as a field producer for the show Island Innovators and quickly moved up the ladder to become the producer of their new show Live@. As the producer for Live@, I was directly involved with supervising everything from pre-production, to final delivery of the product. I would secure a new venue and new talent every week for a total 25 episodes that were required with close to no budget. At the end of season 1 of Live@, I was asked to continue producing Season 2 of Island Innovators, and continue to do so.

I have also worked with magazines such as GCaribbean Magazine and Sister 2 Sister magazine as a photographer.
