I started New Direction Studio 15 years ago shooting corporate, proms, sweet-16 parties, engagements and weddings. I've expanded to shoot portraits - seniors, children and couples as well as boudoir.

I've had several "careers" - college instructor, Multimedia Director in a couple advertising agencies, producer of a couple local television shows, videographer and photographer in my own business, photographer of five great kids. My dog loves the camera - he craves attention. Not me - I want the person(s) in my photos to get all the attention. I shoot mostly people who are not models. I shoot them at some of the most momentous times of their life. I get to share in that a little. That's why I shoot.
