About Me

My passion is my profession and I'm lucky to be able to capture people looking their best in my camera. My background is wedding photography and I've recently diversified into more formal portraiture with a lean into a natural, editorial style. Wedding experience has developed an eye for detail: Angles, light, positions, crops that highlight a model's best side. I'm great with working with new models and the camera shy; providing gentle direction and constant feedback is fundamental to getting great shots!

Ambient lighting is important but I'm ALL about CREATING light: strong shadows to lengthen the legs; subtle highlights to accentuate the bust; a flash of over diffused light to smooth out skin, or create an illusion of innocence. My strobes (and umbrellas) are my best friend ;-)
