First became interested in photography while I was still at school. Saved my pennies to afford my precious OM10 before upgrading to the OM1. Not knowing what type of photography interested me the most I shot everything and anything.
I think this approach to my photography gave me a better understanding of just what was achievable rather than sticking to just one genre.
I met the love of my life and being the romantic type ( and skint) sold my gear so we could marry.
Years later and 2 kids I found I had again the time and money to kickstart what was my hobby and made the jump to digital.
Several workmates saw some of my work and asked if I would be prepared to shoot their weddings to which I agreed. When the shots were seen I was asked if I would shoot personal images for 2 of the guests at the first wedding.
When I spoke of this to a friend she suggested I upload some of my work onto Model Mayhem.
I'm open to trying any sort of photography style and believe that when the shoot is over the model has what they want, I have what I want, and everyone has had an enjoyable time.
I'm hoping that by becoming an MMer I can gain access to people with the same passion for photography as myself, sharing tips and ideas to take our passion to a new level.
