About Me

Magnolia Grace Artisty was founded by Chicago resident makeup artist Lauren Doerries in 2011. Lauren brings to the table over eight years of industry experience in a wide range of areas spanning everything from makeup for special events, to print work in magazines, runway and special FX.

Originally from New York, Lauren has worked across the globe, studying Makeup Artistry at London's esteemed College of Fashion, and working for a variety of makeup lines and spas including Lancome in New York City and Chicago's own Mario Tricoci Salon.

Lauren's philosophy on beauty is that each individual woman's beauty should not be covered up by makeup, but enhanced and allowed to shine. Lauren is available for bridal trials, special events, makeup tutorials, editorial beauty for print work, special effects and more and offers reasonable pricing and flexible payment options.
