After the Twilight series came out, two friends of mine started a modeling group called the “Twilight Temptressez.” We were a petite to plus size group of females, working with local photographers to broaden their and our portfolios. Finances and preparations were done by those modeling. We also helped advertise for local bands, none were paying jobs. I moved back to New Jersey in 2008 and joined Model Mayhem. I was founded by a company that began with real competitions of Jiu Jitsu fighters and expanded to local models competing in wrestling catfights, compensation received. In the Fall of 2010, I was discovered by a group called Explore Talent, in New York City. I attended a group interview and the Casting Director loved my look and requested my return. Unfortunately, at my own expense, I could not afford to travel the next day back or update my portfolio with their high fashion photographers to launch my career in modeling.
