Michael Muenchow is a Singer/Actor/Model from San Antonio Texas.
Since he was a child his passion for the arts made him to get involved in singing, acting, and dancing classes.
Michael has recently been working in professional theatre throughout Texas. He has also been aired on International Television in a talent-based reality show much like the popular American Idol, based in Mexico DF. ‘La Academia USA’ was one of the greatest experiences of his life. He was chosen for the show out of over 10,000 people who auditioned. Muenchow spent three months being trained 24hrs a day 7 days a week by well known professionals in singing, acting, dancing, and interpretation. Performing every weekend on stage for millions of people, and being a part of the daily reality show ‘Camino A La Fama’ became his life during La Academia USA. During this monumental time of his life he was put through intense training that would teach him everything he would need to become an entertainment star. This was the 5th year that ever-popular La Academia was on the air, but the first generation of La Academia USA. One year prior, Michael was also a part of another reality-based talent show in Miami Florida. World famous music mogul Emilio Estefan handpicked twenty talented vocal performers from the entire country and Puerto Rico out of about 30,000 whom auditioned. Michael was selected in the top twenty and was trained and shown the ropes of the Entertainment Industry through the eyes of producers and stars. Aside from the reality-shows, Michael has also had lead roles in many musicals. He has been in such musicals as Rent, Company, The Sound of Music, Bye Bye Birdie, Cinderella (Rossini's Opera and Rogers&Hammerstein's), Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat, and more. He has also been in productions of Les Miserables as Marius, The Exonerated, The Boys in the Band and many other theater productions.
