My name is Irekpitan Ehikioya; Irekpitan means "one who they tell stories about." It always gave me the feeling I was born for greatness. I was born in lagos, Nigeria. I came to America when I was roughly 6 years old. I was always a very active kid, but it wasn't until I started running track and realized I had a knack for it, that I became a fitness junkie. I love working out and I am a personal trainer at ballys total fitness in Rockville centre on long island. I can't imagine my life without being able to workout or especially run. Even though I was active, I was very heavy in my early teen years. I was 190 lbs in eight grade; that's when I really decided to change my lifestyle and eat better. Running became my main source of exercise and it is still my base, my safety. I don't feel right when I don't run. But it is the mixture of a healthy lifestyle, weight training and cardio that has helped me transform my body to where it is today; I have grown to really love my body and I feel confident in pursuing my dream of becoming a fitness model.
