Hello!
I'm Ed Mellor, a makeup-artist located in Stoke-On-Trent soon to be studying a BA(Hons) in Makeup, Hair and Prosthetics for Media and Performance at the London College of Fashion.

The transformative and creative possibilities of makeup, whether that is accentuating someone’s best features or transfiguring them into an otherworldly creature is something I feel to be incredibly powerful. This turns them into a living piece of art; their face a canvas and the makeup its paint. I strive to achieve this transformation in my work

I have incorporated technical elements of makeup artists such as Mathu Andersen, Alex Box and Joseph Harwood within my personal work and I aspire to achieve the level of artistic brilliance they have imbued upon the makeup industry.

My studies in photography have not only created my original body of work for my makeup portfolio but have also inspired me to become creative and fearless with my ideas,bringing a unique perspective to my art. This has developed into something I enjoy doing regularly in my spare time.
