A few years and an equipment upgrade or two, and actually being paid for my work, and I'm a photographer.

This is not my day job, but a chance for me to work in the visual medium. I've got a project or two I'm putting together, and I shoot the occasional performance and event.

I like working with models who have ideas they want to capture. Even on some of my projects, I have a theme I want to play with, but encourage my model to run with it and make it their own.

Payment depends on what's going on. If I'm being hired as a professional, I expect to be paid as one. If I have a shoot/look/specific project in mind and need to hire a model, I expect to pay them. If it's a wacky art project, maybe nobody gets paid because it's about the experiment. It really depends.

I do work full time, so scheduling can be tricky sometimes. I do have access to a makeup artist or two if that's something you need.
