I stopped doing portraiture and fashion after finding success in it with an exhibition and getting published. I set out on some large documentary and exhibition work since, with self set rules to not capture likenesses and push myself conceptually... the projects are taking time and I rue making these decisions a bit, like I've decided to only eat bread until I have framed these new pieces, so I've decided to look at editorial and fashion again.


I work quickly with improvisation, though I am generally happier with more photos and time spent to show for a concept; I prefer 2x outings to let things percolate. I always have ideas ready to shoot, with direction and place in mind. My idea of fashion, and what I want to do further with it, is embodied by Purple, TANK, StyleZeitgeist.
I use a Hasselblad X1 scanner for my film and provide web versions and 4x6 prints from a local printer I work with in exchange for collaboration on my shoots. If you are a print publication I provide calibrated colour-space ready (up to AdobeRGB) and full size from the scanner.
