I started my photography career in photojournalism because I enjoy telling stories about people, what's important to them and what motivates them. This follows the same reason why I enjoy making fun, formal or informal environmental portraits. I began my journey using a GAF 220 Instant Load 110 camera (yes, I still have it) and quickly progressed to a 35mm film camera. That day the world changed for me and how I would come to view the world as one big rectangle, full of opportunity. I enjoy making a personal connection and developing a relationship with the individual, and from that emerges the moment to capture in a photograph. I enjoy shooting a variety of styles and subjects, work outdoors, shoot with existing light when possible, but mix with strobe.
