My portrait work derives itself from my start with documentary and editorial photography. I place a big emphases on capturing the essence of the moment, character or story that I am trying convey. Due to my early start in editorial, I have a tendency to capture the message right in camera first (when often times my session with clients & models are very short); I learned to work quickly, thoroughly, with many limitations.

I am currently on the path of creating new bodies of work that takes more of an experimental edge with lighting, story lines & props. I want to flat out have fun with my work, and plan to put small productions together in calibration with other artist, photographers, models, and digital/graphic artist.
