Almond Eyes Makeup Artistry was founded by makeup artist and
beauty writer, Jennifer Membreno. Jennifer studied makeup
artistry at the Lia Schorr Institute in New York City. After having
worked as a makeup artist for NARS Cosmetics, she launched her
own line of luxury lip gloss in 2012, Almond Cosmetics.
Jennifer has over ten years of event planning experience having
worked as a fundraiser for such high profile New York City
institutions as the Asia Society, Amnesty International, Marble
Collegiate Church, and the Council on Foreign Relations. She has
coordinated a wide range of events with some of the world's most prominent business and political leaders. In addition to her professional work, she supports Women for Afghan Women, a grassroots agency based in Queens that promotes the rights of women and girls in New York and Afghanistan. Jennifer has also served as a member of the Association of Bridal Consultants, where she worked on the Queens Borough Steering Committee. She is often called upon to provide beauty commentary and has been featured on many wedding planning websites and
blogs as well as magazines. Jennifer holds a Bachelor's degree in Spanish Literature from SUNY Stony Brook and a Master's degree in Global Affairs from New York University. Jennifer is available to provide makeup artistry services for brides, general special events, private beauty consultations,
