Photography is a way of preserving history. Not just “historical” events, but events that happen in everyday life. Photography provides a means for capturing a moment. It can be as simple as a landscape or still life. The “art” in photography is telling the story, communicating the emotion through that image.
I’ve been involved in photography since I was a kid. These have served to preserve my childhood memories. I have also used photography in my scientific career was a means of capturing and communicating data. My current goal is to explore the art of photography. To create portraits that show the person such that anyone looking at it will get a sense of who that person is. To create images the express a feeling of the moment. Bringing Life into Focus. This is an ongoing learning curve that I hope never reaches a plateau.
