Janel Porter is an emerging freelance makeup artist specializing in beauty, editorial, and bridal makeup. She is the founder/owner of Just Perfect Beauty Freelance Makeup Artistry and is based in Louisville, KY. She is a former ballet dancer, musical theatre actress and singer and developed a love for makeup at an early age. Janel is a graduate of Chatham College, (now Chatham University), located in Pittsburgh, PA with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English, Drama and Black Studies. She has also studied with Jill Glaser, owner and founder of the Makeup First School of Makeup Artistry located in Chicago, IL. Ms. Porter is available for travel on a limited basis and is interested in both paid and unpaid opportunities to promote/perfect her craft.
