​​​I am ​currently in school working toward earning a Bachelor's Degree in Costume Design. This is not my first venture into education since I already have a license in Cosmetology. I returned to school and I found myself helping the theater department doing the hair and makeup. This experience helped me discover how much creativity goes on behind the stage. I continue to volunteer my time to help the theater department at my community college whether it be applying makeup or helping out with costumes backstage. I also continue to take makeup classes to keep up with the trends and current makeup techniques. In addition to working with a theater department, I have worked with hair and makeup on a couple of students films and kids fashion shows.
