About Me

My name is Vicky Kao, and I'm a daydreamer armed with a Plastic Canon.

I've been working in the arts world since I can remember, be it fine art and painting, music or photography, photography being the most recent.
I'm a graduate of Music and Digital Media at St. Lawrence College in Kingston which is actually where I found photography. While I was in Kingston, I worked photographing musicians for concert coverage, web promotion and press packages. Now that I'm back in Toronto, I've been studying Creative Photography at Humber College where I'm refining my skills in lighting and post processing.

My favourite subjects to photograph would have to be creative and conceptual portraits and music photography, but I'm always willing to try new things, meet new people and collaborate.
