My name is Alonzo Hoffler, I am currently studying journalism at Community College of Philadelphia, however this is not my original plan that I had in mind years ago. I come from a theatrical, performing arts background that help mode me into the person I am today. Most of my friends and co-workers would agree that I am social, outspoken, and love a good laugh. Throughout high school I performed in a number of shows, mostly dance performances while others were plays. I began to realize that I was falling in love with theater so I decided to take classes at Freedom Theatre in Philadelphia. This developed my stage presence and gave me the confidence that I lacked in my youth as a child. Once I graduated high school, I was introduced to modeling and immediately I fell in love with it as well. I started seeking runway coaches and agencies, which led me to Mainline models. I took a few classes and tips but didn't stay. A few months later a friend introduced me too a young designer who also had contacts with upcoming designers within the city, and that was when I started doing shows. I fell off the scene because I wanted to go back to school and work full time. I also didn't have much luck with the underground fashion scene so since I didn't see much progress I decided to walk away. My love for modeling and performing never left me, it's still a huge part of me that describes who I am and I am in search of a platform to showcase my talent. I hope to meet people who are serious and is willing to give me the opportunity to return to my first passion. I would like to be able, at least make some connections with those who can point me in the direction of auditions.
