Jaymeson, here! I am the photographer at J Welker Photography. After graduating from Millikin University with a BFA in Acting, I decided to move to the sunny state of Florida to be near family and feel out the Southeast market. Now I seek not only acting work, but other actors to take pictures of.

I was interested in portraiture at a young age. I enjoyed doing pencil sketches and taking photographs of people. While performing and visual arts were a large part of my life growing up, I chose to attend college for performing arts. After that, the visual arts took a spot on the back burner while I earned my degree.

At school, I worked closely with a student run theatre and was the Marketing Director for a semester. While running a theatre company is entirely different from what I do now, I've always had a interest in marketing and running my own business. Having graduated, I actually find myself with more time on my hands. So, I decided to dig up my love of photography and build a business around helping actors market themselves.
