Hello, My name is Shawana "Monique" and I am a professional Figure Model.

I suppose I can say I began modeling as a teen when my Father paid for me to take classes at a Modeling school in San Francisco where, I learned to ""walk" for runway however, I never fit the bill for High Fashion. I did a few fashion shows growing up but, didn't consider Modeling as a career again until I was in my late Twenties when approached by a professional photographer from my church. He encouraged me to pose for a reputable magazine for nude after seeing a Praise Dance presentation i did at our church. I was reluctant however, after he submitted my pictures the Magazine sent me a confirmation letter and phoned me several times offering to pay me $2500 to come shoot. I declined. However, my love for modeling did not end there. As to date the bulk of my experience as a model has come from Fashion Merchandising and Advertising my own work as a seamstress (swimwear and some lingerie) Some of my work has been printed in local News Print as well. I am completely comfortable in my Skin and nudity has never been a problem with me. I love Nature and the beauty of Natural Being. I am comfortable with Posing nude as a Figure Model and I have even done so with Male Figure Models to show the difference in Male Female Anatomy. That was Fun! I love the Reality of nudity.

As a little girl I can remember wanting to do Figure Modeling when i got "old". I am definitely Mature enough to appreciate the gracefulness of aging beauty I will be 49 years young in a few months and I have birthed 4 Sons and 1 Daughter (who are all fine contributions to society) They are my greatest joy. ALL THE PHOTOS YOU SEE OF ME ARE UNTOUCHED. My body has fared well over the years, by the Grace of God. I Love Figure Modeling and it is my hopes to become perhaps the next Mona Lisa. I want to travel abroad as well as locally as a Figure Model. It is my hopes that this site will be instrumental in my flowing in this direction. I believe we should ONLY do what we Love in Life, my children reflect this belief to the fullest. Now it is My turn.

Some of my work as a Model, has been featured in Local Galleries and i look forward to growing creatively as a Model and Artist.

I was recommended by an Art Directors at one of the Colleges I currently Model for to set up a page to promote my work. So here I am. It is my sincere prayer that you all Love Me and the various Artist interpretations of me as much as I Love to Model!
