About three years ago I was given a camera as a present. By the end of that day I knew I didn't want to put it down. When my best friend agreed to model for me, it was the start of more than I could have imagined. Soon I had new offers to model, cosplayers asking for pictures, requests for portraits.

In the spring of 2013 I received the Grinspoon Entrepreneurship award for starting a photography business while in college. Later that same spring my photographs were displayed in a solo art exhibit in the student art gallery.

Entirely self-taught and with little "professional" equipment, I have been extremely fortunate to receive the recognition that I did. I continue to learn from online resources, conversations with other artists, gallery owners, and of course from my own mistakes.

I hope to one day make enough money off my photography to be able to do it full time. Right now I work a 9-5 day job (which has its own benefits, but isn't my dream job) which means most of my shoots happen either in the evening or on the weekend. I also do not have a studio space, which so far has been a good thing as it forces all creative minds behind a project to come up with interesting locations.

I recently moved to the Greater Boston Area and do not have many artistically-inclined contacts here. I would like to meet local designers to work together on interesting fashion photography. I am also always looking for models.
I am willing to work without pay if I may retain the rights to the images. All compensation is negotiable.
