Hello Friends.

My name is Autumn. I am a Brooklyn-based photographer specializing in headshots, portraits, fashion, engagement photos, and festive, love-filled celebrations. I am here to collaborate with inspiring artists and models, and also use this platform to seek some paid portraiture work.

Regarding photography, I was raised by loving hippies/artists/musicians in a rather nomadic gypsy fashion and spent much of my childhood being placed in fields, abandoned barns, sculptures, sunflower patches and almost always in a hat around the great lands of America for the sake of the still image. It's actually in my bones. Starting off with an obsessive collection of disposable cameras during those awkward teenage years, I moved on to my father's old camera (when it functioned properly and I could get to town to buy film- we lived on a 60 acre post-hippie commune 20 minutes from any sort of store) followed by Polaroids, then my first Canon Rebel (film) and onto the inevitable generations of Rebels to follow--- and now I shoot with a 5D Mark iii. I've been collecting a bunch of great lenses and other various things and I feel well equipped to capture the beautiful and creative being that you are.

Having spent 3+ years modeling for the fashion photography departments of SVA and ICP in New York as a fun side gig and in retrospect, what I consider to be the best free education of my life (genius)--- I have sat in hundreds of hours of fashion and portrait classes soaking up the knowledge and have worked with hundreds of photographers and I feel like I have a pretty damn good idea of what works and what does not in terms of communicating with subjects and how to get their true essence to shine through. The same goes for acting for film and TV as well as all of the print jobs I've had through out the years.
