S&L Model Scouts is an agency specializing in booking kids, characters, performing artists and models on local & international TV commercials, stills productions and film. At S&L Model Scouts respect spells success and all existing clients as well as potential clients must receive the best service.
The two faces of S&L Model Scouts are Lizelle Meyer and Steph Venter. They had a dream and a vision of helping people in the industry and so with a lot of hard work the company was born. Lizelle’s got a degree in BDram Hons Degree specialising in Film Studies from the University of Stellenbosch. She also graduated from Elsabe Daneel Production post-graduate course in Multi-Media Studies. With three years previous experience at another top modeling agency in Cape Town and assisting as a shoot coordinator at a production company also based in Cape Town, Lizelle is the friendly booker who is always on top of all the jobs. The photographer is Steph who was a manager at another casting agency where he was doing portfolio shoots and booking TV advertisements. He’s been active in the industry from a younger age where he gained experience in front and behind the scenes.
Our goal is to give each talent the opportunity to reach for their dream. We will help them get more self-confidence, become more responsible and maybe built a strong career in the field. Help them enhance their talents, market them by giving them the platform to start a career from. We are proud to say that we cater for everyone and have no colour, height, weight and looks criteria which models need to apply to. However, our model division will have height and looks criteria which we will specifically scout people for.
