Like many wedding photographers, I was first drawn to the genre by a friend asking if I could shoot their wedding, and it's hard to say no to friends! Their joy upon viewing my photos from their wedding day was contagious. I love photographing weddings because they are overwhelmingly chaotic days for the bride and groom, and without photography, it's easy for their scattered moments of joy and elation to be consumed by the drudgery of logistics, traditions and in-laws. A good photographer documents these occasions, a great photographer takes you back to those little moments, into your private thoughts and emotions, and reminds you to take only what was important about that day with you into the future.
