I was always one of those girls that loved makeup, but I started as a makeup aficionado in 2007. I chose Makeup Artistry and Cosmetology as my senior project focus. It was when You-tube makeup tutorials were just starting. Starting with my project I conducted my own trials, research, and hands-on learning. I started with special events makeup, then added some photo shoots, and ended up doing primarily Bridal and special events. I was hired at Macy's in 2009 and worked there until 2013. Here I worked at every counter as a "divisional" learning everything each company had to teach me. I became part of the Estee Lauder team for a little over a year and transferred back to divisional. For the rest of my Macy's career I was part of the Impulse team working with Benefit, Philosophy, Stila, and many other vendors. In 2012 we also welcomed INGLOT cosmetics in our department in 2012 which of course came with lots of training. After our official training, I became the unofficial trainer for INGLOT.

When I left Macy's I began my career relationship with ULTA Beauty, where I am at currently. Starting as a Prestige Beauty Advisor I worked with many vendors and volunteered to support for other stores in our district. I was requested and eagerly stepped in as a makeup artist and skincare specialist in multiple events. In October of 2013 I was promoted to Prestige Manager at ULTA Beauty. Here I contributed to building a new team, hosting successful events, and providing outstanding service to every guest. I absolutely love my job. It is where I can take my artistry skills, people skills, coaching skills, and compassion to make a difference every day.
