I still consider myself as an amateur photographer as my full time job is still doing my geek work in a IT company. Maybe someday I am gonna quit my current job and start my own studio. But it's not now.

I got my first camera since my college time from my dad. For 15 years, I was trying to capture every beauty I saw in my life with my gear, though I did not do a really good job until recently. For the past half years, I started to really get into the photography world and learned a lot of technics. I started to know how to correctly use my camera , how to set up lighting gear to manipulate the light and how to retouch the portrait to make it more beautiful. For 6 months, I have improved my photography skills from average amateur portrait photographer to be a much more skilled one. though I still think myself an amateur, but I got fame in my circle of friend. And people starts to ask me to take portrait of themselves.

With my skilled improved, it seems to me that a plain portrait is not enough anymore as I can handle it very well. I am more into taking creative portraits with a particular theme. I can not do this with average people. That's why I start to think about to cooperate with professionals from now on.

Portrait photography is all about communication. But it's still really hard to work with someone you don't know. I hope I can find some good professional models here to start with, and over time, to be friends.
