I guess I got into photography when I just started taking my camera with me on camping trips with my friends. At the time, I only ever did candid shots and it became fun, add-on tradition to our trips. It really evolved though when I upgraded to my first Canon DSLR this past August and I started getting into portrait photography. Since then, I've done a few more portrait shoots, some sporting events, and a wedding. Obviously, my preferred subjects are people, unless I'm shooting my dogs or doing some travel photography. At the moment, I really only shoot for fun and not for any kind of profit. I'm still trying to learn, but as I build my skills, I may eventually apply for jobs at a newspaper or start doing paid shoots.
