I am a hobbyist photographer in Texas looking to improve my work in portrait photography. My goal is to get a chance to collaborate with creative models, makeup artists, stylists, and digital artists in order to create images that highlight the model and convey various moods. I have been photographing people on and off since 2004, and generally accept projects by people I know personally. Before that, I used film and mainly played around with "trendy" toy cameras. I am open to working with aspiring models to help begin their portfolios, and to grow mine. I have done paid work and shot established models in the past, but at this time, I have decided to take a step back and hone my photography skills, and to work on being more artistic in my work. I would love to work with people who would like flattering portraits as well as creating scenes that inspire. I work mainly with natural light, but on occasion, I work with strobes if I'm in a darker setting indoors or out. Hope to work with someone on here one day! I joined Model Mayhem years too late, and plan to use it for networking with other photographers and artists, as well as working with new models.
