Rianna Phillips was introduced into the world of design whilst studying ‘Textile Design for Fashion’ at Manchester School of Art. During her second year she began experimenting with the digital print facilities, her place in the market was beginning to become established.

Her time at uni was encapsulated within the collection of clothing she designed in her final year project. Most of the garments were embellished and digitally printed, and being such an enormous fan of accessories herself, felt it only natural to have a selection to accompany the final line up. Digitally printed scarves and an embellished metallic tote were the key pieces that pushed Rianna towards accessory design.

Her career began as a freelance print designer; she also completed work experience internships in the fashion industry before deciding to launch her own luxury label in 2011.

The accessories are hand made in Britain, the fabrics are printed locally and the designs are 100% original. This has lead to a massive increase in global sales as customers across the pond love to have a piece of British design.
The inspirations behind the prints are cultivated from two constant themes that combine and contrast beautifully: Organic, Synthetic. Masculine stainless steel bolts and rivets are intentionally placed side by side with feminine hand drawn florals, creating one off 3D style textures which are digitally printed onto fabrics.

Currently, aged 25 Rianna alternates between running her online accessories business and tutoring on the 'Textiles in Practice' course at Manchester School of Art.
