I am a cinematographer, filmmaker, and film photographer. My current focus is fashion film and experimental shorts. I have a background in film and 35mm still photography. My film background includes a strong documentary tradition, that said and in addition to the experimental shorts I am interested in doing some short documentaries on local artists and their creative processes. I have many projects of my own, but I am very interested in doing collaborative work, so please friend me and/or shoot me an email. I also want to say that I do photography because I love the art of it. It has a unique ability to capture and communicate (and not necessarily what you think - more along the lines of Roland Barthes - "Camera Lucida"). I make plenty of money doing other things so I am not interested in being "hired". If I like your look and you have an interesting idea I will take the time to really delve into an awesome project and get some incredible results. In this instance, the "you get what you pay for" adage doesn't apply ;).
